Would you try another book from Jan Gaye and/or Robin Eller?
Ms Eller is an excellent reader unfortunately her style and affectation just did not reflect the character and emotion of the story told. She was flat and boring for this tale about love and
pain with the wife of the greatest soul singer of all time. If Audible can enlist Reese Witherspoon for Harper Lee, find an equal actress to convey the emotion this documented auto biographical material deserves. I am sure many well known dramatic actresses would be glad to.do it.
