Historia
Kelly Wilder becomes recently widowed from a much older wealthy man with whom she spent her married life, as she says, 'pretending to be a whole lot more conservative and stupid and nicer than I really am.' Now, with too much time and money on her hands, Kelly has absolutely no idea what happens next. So, on a whim, she signs up for a ballroom dancing class, and begins to rebuild her life with the help of friends old and new.

Bravo

'The Unexpected Waltz' is an unexpectedly delicious read. I had no expectations, as I didn't read the blurb explaining the book. One of the first times I've laughed and cried while listening to a book. Kirsten Potter is an easy to listen to narrator. Always nice when the narrator seems to know what the author is writing about and puts feeling into the narration.

Historia
Melissa Bank's runaway best seller, The Girls' Guide to Hunting and Fishing, charmed readers and critics alike with its wickedly insightful, tender look at a young woman's forays into love, work, and friendship. Now, with The Wonder Spot, Bank is back with her signature combination of devilishly self-deprecating humor, seriousness, and wisdom.

Sisyphus
Revisado: 03-14-15
Would you try another book from Melissa Bank and/or Melissa Bank?
It depends. If there is some direction to the story after a few chapters, I might take a chance.
Has The Wonder Spot turned you off from other books in this genre?
Nope. They're all different.
Which character – as performed by Melissa Bank – was your favorite?
None.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Wonder Spot?
I would rearrange, add and introduce some comphrension to the story.
Any additional comments?
Sisyphus. Circular. Goes nowhere. Confusing plot--is there a plot? Disappointing. Some direction needed as the story lost me. I'm not sure why it was written.

Historia
Marie Bostwick weaves the unforgettable story of four very different women whose paths cross, changing their lives forever. It’s a long way from Fort Worth, Texas, to New Bern, Connecticut, yet it only takes a day in the charming Yankee town to make Evelyn Dixon realize she’s found her new home. The abrupt end of her marriage was Evelyn’s wake-up call to get busy chasing her dream of opening a quilt shop. Finding a storefront is easy enough; starting a new life isn’t....
