Historia
Very few careers can offer you the freedom, flexibility and income that active trading does. As a trader, you can live and work anywhere in the world. You can decide when to work and when not to work. You may only answer to yourself. That is the life of a successful day trader; but it is not easy to achieve and very few succeed. In the audiobook, I describe the fundamentals of day trading, explain how day trading is different from other styles of trading and investment, and elaborate on important trading strategies that many traders use every day.

So good on so many levels
Revisado: 10-12-22
This was an exceptional book on so many levels, While this edition focuses on day trading and has great value within this sector, I think it is a valuable resource for anyone interested in any sector of trading.
HERE IS MY BACKGROUND- I own some stock that I purchased blindly with no advice, no plan, no strategy; my timing was good and I made some good gains during covid (thank you Tesla) but I am now quickly realizing that most of my moves which are blind strokes are failing, I know nothing about trading and feel like I should know something. In talking with a friend recently we both got interested in trading. Our interest was in statistical trading, quick moves without knowing much about the fundamentals behind the companies being traded. After reading this book I realize day trading is not right for me; that alone made this book priceless for me! I will be listing to Andrews Swing Trading book next.
Let me get this out of the way first. The ONLY THING I DID NOT LIKE about this book which is petty, was the introduction. Honestly I almost lost interest in the first few minutes listening to the author talk about his mountain climbing and other personal aspects. I am glad a didn't give up that soon because once that first chapter was out of the way this book took off and got to the good stuff, moved fast, covered tons of material and stayed focused. Andrew, if you are listening, the intro almost lost me as a reader/listener; for how focused you are it really seemed mis-aligned with the book and immediately sent me off course.
THE WRITTING AND NARRATOR IS EXCEPTIONAL! The performance was perfect, hands down this book was an enjoyment to listen too.
While the book included many plugs for the author's paid service website for community trading, I think it aligned with the content and did not distract from the valuable content provided. No issue here but I figured I would mention it.
The best I can do TO SUMMARIZE THIS BOOK is: A comprehensive, fast paced, personal account of how one intelligent, motived, dedicated, disciplined person became and remains a successful day trader that includes the realist details of their significant trials and tribulations. Along the way I learned an immense amount about the stock market in general and feel I have a completely new understanding and respect for what day trading is. Don't get me wrong, I am following the advice in this book and I absolutely will not be jumping into any day trading relying only on what I learned here but if I ever do take on day trading this information will be invaluable while I learn and practice the trade.
DO NOT EXPECT to start successfully trading stock directly after listening to this book, and for that point, do not expect to start successfully trading stock directly after reading/listening to any "how to trade stock" book; even the best books are only primers to help you understand what you don't know. You still have to do the work to learn through practice trading, mentorship, planning and so much more.
DO EXPECT to have a significantly better understanding of many aspects of trading and a significant advantage to move forward with whether you are just starting or have been in trading for some time. Honestly, I think many of the insights and principles presented in this book can apply to much more in life than trading stocks.
TWO THUMBS UP for a tremendous amount of valuable information. well written with perfect narration.

I agree, Authentic & artistic listen. Recommended
Revisado: 12-03-21
Short and sweet, I found this to be authentic and "felt" the artistic expression throughout the listen.
I am a big fan of music, particularly the 90's Alt. I hadn't been exposed to Sharon's work until Audible recommended it. Honestly while I enjoyed the music it was more the story and presentation that sold me on this as time well spent.
Nice work Sharon and team.

Almost, but not OK. Not the worst I've heard but..
Revisado: 12-03-21
This story could be used as an example of how not to end a story. Maybe the writer ran out of time or something and just gave up in the last 2 minutes of the game.
Overall, the story seemed "meh" and filled my time while commuting. Until, the last 2 minutes when the whole thing was shoved in a shoebox and called done. This condensed attempt and lack of ending took away the acceptance I had for the body of the story and left me irritated due to the level of let down. At least that let down was quick, execution style right there in the last 2 minutes.
The performance was also OK, even acceptable for me, I'm no linguistic specialist but the accents did not seem very consistent or authentic. I'm not sure about the "headphones recommended aspect", I suppose the spatial effect was a bit "different" although I did have a bit of a struggle hearing clearly at times (mostly listening in my car without headphones).
Potential spoiler here, STOP reading if you are planning on giving this a listen:
There was a major disconnect in the story, Nino made a huge deal about Loretta staying away from Renz and then BLAM, in that spattered last 2 minutes it seems like Nino's life mission is to get them together as required to fulfill the prophesy which his whole existence (or should I say non-existence) was committed to.

Historia
New York book editor Maris Matherly-Reed knows a best seller when she sees one - even if it is just a tantalizing partial manuscript submitted by a writer identified only as P.M.E., with the return address of an obscure island off the Georgia coast. Maris is intrigued enough to search for him.

I’m a book rookie - enjoyed but heavy on the sexual detail
Revisado: 09-13-18
As a middle age guy, I enjoyed the plot, the story wasn’t over done it kept me interested. I like audio books for my 45 minute commutes, each way.
The part that didn’t seem to fit the suspense story was the multiple detailed sex scenes; they were just unnecessary and didn’t fit with how the story flowed, adding nothing and to me, cheapening the story. I’m not offended or anything like that, I just didn’t see how it fit in with the story. Reading reviews on other books by this author I see that is a trend of hers. I did buy another audio book by Sandra and I can use the skip function if it’s over burdened with Random overly detailed sex scenes.
All in all, It was time well spent for me.
