Very little character development.
Revisado: 01-26-25
I like stories where I get to know and like the characters. In this book, it is action and suspense but I really didn’t get to know the characters. All were pretty surface and shallow.

Interesting
Revisado: 01-13-25
Interesting am not sure if this is a youth book or not. The main character, Sky, acted like an impulsive, whiny, disloyal, confused girl. She thought she was very grown up but clearly looked immature if you judge by her actions. It was interesting at times but often I couldn’t tell what the plot was supposed to be. She was a werewolf and there were witches and other creatures in the story. There was a lot of fighting between groups. She put herself in harms way many times which seemed stupid and careless. She put other people in harms way by her bad decisions. And the pack that saved her repeatedly, she was disloyal to. But what was the plot? I am not sure. I wouldn’t buy any more of this series or any other novels she wrote.

Getting to know this author
Revisado: 12-14-24
I really didn’t read the description of this book before I purchased it. I was expecting a novel. This is some autobiographical events and thoughts from Catherine Ryan Hyde. I have really liked many of her books so it was interesting to get to know more about her.

Disappointing
Revisado: 12-12-24
This book was difficult to keep track of what is happening. It seems to try to portray the viewpoint of someone who is delusional. It was confusing. Didn’t see much of a point to this story. Her others are much better.

Very confusing.
Revisado: 11-30-24
What to say about this book. It is very long. There are so many different people talked a a bout in this book that I lost track of who each person was. I couldn’t even tell you what the book is about. There was a trial by judge instead of a jury. But from there I am lost. Maybe is they had edited the book to about 5 hours, it would have made sense. But it seemed to wander around.

What a heartwarming, magical lovely story about people doing the “right” thing even if they had to lose someone by doing it. It is a story about love between people and families. I loved it.
