Narrator makes it difficult to listen to

Narrator has only 1 tone of voice & it's kind of a monotone. There is nothing to distinguish one character from another or just the general narration. I honestly couldn't tell you what this is about as I kept zoning out on the story because the narrator is SO BORING.

I couldn't even finish chapter 3. I found this boring. I got this for free, but it wasn't worth it.

I loved this series. Belle is a kick ass vampire hunter who ends up falling for 3 vampires who are HAF. Very steamy.

I normally love everything by Holly, but kink club series just isn't for me. I enjoy erotica, but this one is way to stalkerish for my taste.

I love Holly's stories, but the kink club series just doesn't do it for me. I don't mind the short length of the story, but this one just missed mark for me.

I thought this was an interesting & unique story, but I couldn't really get in to it. I wasn't able to make the connection with Absidy like I wanted, which is why I rated it as I did.

Love this series

I've read this series & loved every page. Belle is a kick ass vampire hunter. She's absolutely everything I love in a FMC. The 3 vampires that she has become involved with are HAF. You can't help but want to be in Belle's shoes no matter what she's going thru. This is a definite must read/listen. You can't go wrong!

I admit that I haven't yet listened to this one, but I wanted to post my review for the actual story. I'll update my performance rating once I've listened.

Interesting story

This is an interesting story with a tragedy of loss of sight by Raine with the birth of her son as a bargain with the Dream Merchant to allow her to get pregnant. Story does end with HEA.

There are times when Linda repeats phrases during the narration & she constantly has a clicking noise as if she's always licking her lips or popping her lips after swallowing. You can also hear every time she takes a breath. This is not the first of her stories I've listened to, and they all have this same thing when she's narrating her own stories. That is distracting to me, and even tho I do find her stories interesting, I do not like her narration. Her narrations are enough to make me not want to listen to any of her other audiobooks.

Couldn't get enough

I knew that I was going to really like this story just based on the first 5 minutes of chapter one. I was laughing so hard at what Granny said. She's a character!!

The story picks up 6 months after Jaden & Haley were rescued from the red wolves that happened in book 2. Jaden walks in on one of Granny's sex toy parties that she gives & Haley is there. This is the first time that he has seen her since they were both rescued. They are both damaged from what they went thru. Haley has moved to Arkansas after her parents disowned her. She's being stalked & went to Barrett, the Alpha of the Arkansas wolves, for help. He assigns Jaden to her. He's supposed to stay in the background so she doesn't know he's there, but when she has a male student make her uncomfortable, he can't stand back & intervenes. When her stalker gets too close & he didn't sent them, he moves her from the dorm she's living in to stay at the house he's been staying at to be able to better protect her. Things heat up between them & her stalker steps up his threats.

The story is filled with action & I loved all of the characters in the story. The characters are all unique with differing backgrounds. Each is wonderfully thought-out & written. I'm looking forward to reading/listening to the other books in the series. Story ends with an HEA.

Interesting story line

When Alana turns 20 she's shocked to learn she's a witch, uncontrollable powers & all. As she's trying to learn to deal with her new life, she meets 2 brothers who are protectors of witches. They are trying to help her survive in her new world. It's not easy, but she's determined to learn what she can from the brothers.

This is the first book I've read/listened to from this author. I thought it was a good story with lots of twists. The love triangle between her & the brothers is different in the sense that she's not totally attracted to one of the brothers, but just something she wants. Interesting story line. I will pick up book 2.
