A Refreshing Journey of Faith and Healing
Revisado: 04-10-25
I love how Janet shares her personal stories of trial, disappointment, and the lessons she has learned from the Bible about God. The book is a deeply personal and refreshing look at the truths she discovered in her own life. This combination of personal anecdotes and biblical truths supplies a powerful and engaging narrative that is both relatable and inspiring.
Janet’s narration is lovely to listen to, I can hear her heart on every page. It is not merely a recitation of words but a heartfelt testimony of her own journey.
One of the most significant aspects of the book is its exploration of topics such as perfectionism, contentment, and finding true delight in God alone. Janet's insights into these areas have prompted me to examine them in my own life and attitudes. Her honest and vulnerable storytelling will help listeners to confront their own struggles and find hope in God's love and grace.
Refreshing and inspiring, this audiobook is a guide to God's safe space, and discovering the peace and comfort that can only be found in a relationship with God. I would recommend this book to anyone struggling with challenges and trying to heal.

Historia
Listening to The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan can be a bit challenging. Not so with this new version that translates the original archaic language into simple, conversational English, allowing listeners of all ages to easily navigate the most popular Christian allegory of all time. The story chronicles the epic adventure of a man named Christian who leaves his home in the City of Destruction and begins a life-long quest to the Celestial City.

Finally able to finish this classic
Revisado: 04-20-21
There have been any number of times I've attempted to read all the way through this story in the original writing but always fail to get beyond the first chapter or two, Until now! This modern day version has been so helpful that I can finally say that I understand the journey of Christian with his companions, guides, and his challenges. I actually began to recognize my own progress on my own journey and how many times I've encountered these same companions.
Now, I'm usually skeptical of authors who narrate their own work, but the narration here felt like a father reading this to his family of an evening, which enjoyed and I could see myself doing.
Thank you & Well done!

Excellent story, wonderfully narrated
Revisado: 03-06-20
The scenes, the plot and twists and character descriptions were terrific. Loves how it personalizes people in the trenches, and how war affects lives. David's narration was terrific, spot on storytelling and character styles. His ability to use the just right voice for each character in dialogue made this a very nice listen.

Historia
Michael Pollan, known for his best-selling nonfiction audio, including The Omnivores Dilemma and How to Change Your Mind, conceived and wrote Caffeine: How Caffeine Created the Modern World as an Audible Original. In this controversial and exciting listen, Pollan explores caffeine’s power as the most-used drug in the world - and the only one we give to children (in soda pop) as a treat.

Revisado: 03-03-20
This is expert material all packaged in a consise sequence. Eric does a wonderful job of delivering details with plenty of examples and stories. I learned much more here than only podcasts. also storytelling and teamwork. He makes it sound as though we are in my living room not in a classrom.
