Historia
Destiny Fisher is ready to move past the guilt and shame of losing a fiancé to the war in Afghanistan 12 years ago. She never should’ve said yes to his proposal in the first place, and she's been plagued by her choices for more than a decade. She was his biggest regret. Trent Dawkins has been married to the army ever since he walked away from his brother's funeral...and from the woman he loved. Delta Team Three is his family. Destiny has avoided him for all these years. Does seeing him remind her of his brother? Can the two of them face their demons and move forward?

Not worth the price
Revisado: 01-08-25
The story felt lacking. The narrative was not great either. The male narrator was awful in getting the emotions of the story and when he squeaked out the female words it was cringeworthy. The female narrator was only a bit better. For $20 this was a disappointment.

Not believable nor likable
Revisado: 11-15-24
The main female was annoying. There is rambling and then there is a waste of my time listening to the narrative. The male character was too perfect and over sold.
The narrative was hard to listen to. She made the characters even worse: the female passive and pathetic who rambles and the male as fake and crude.
I like the authors others series but this one was a waste of money.

Historia
This may be my toughest mission yet. None of my SEAL training or my time in the CIA has prepared me for this: a prickly, five-foot-nothing hellcat Jasmin Smith. She was mine. She can fight it all she wanted, but in the end, I would have her every way a man can have his woman. She was a sassy little thing, making me work to bend her to my demands. But I will! I will bend her and tie her to me so tight she would never be able to get free. Only problem is I had to break her first. I had secrets that she needed to know.

Not my favorite one…

Jasmin was too much and annoying. I started to hope for better for Linx. I finished listening to have a better understanding on the other books, which I love. This book was lacking.
