J. M. Dalgliesh is an author I highly recommend! This is the fourteenth book I have listened to authored by J. M. Dalgliesh and read by Greg Patmore. All aspects are outstanding and my experience of re-listening to novels by Dangliesh, read by Patmore, is rewarding and enjoyable! Greg Patmore's voices for the individuals in the novels make them real and personal - - "individuals" that one can care about!

The author is superb in writing an interesting murder mystery with leading characters that one can like and "cheer" for. I have listened to all four books and I look forward to the fifth book ( I hope it will arrive soon!) The narrator is also superb!!

I hope Mr. Lovesey stays with his form from the past in the future. I wanted to return this book but didn’t think that was fair to Audible. I stayed with it but I am sorry that I cannot recommend this particular P.L. novel. Loved all his previous novels!
