I was lucky enough to read this as an arc and couldn't WAIT for the audio. Pam Godwin's character-building is beyond incredible, and the narrators really brought the characters to life!

The heartache and pain, along with everything else the tortured souls went through, were voiced absolutely amazingly. I finally am getting around to listening to the trilogy because I knew I had to. These are CLIFFHANGERS! Be warned.

This book was incredible. I absolutely love how Lauren Blakely researches and weaves in disabilities and/or illnesses, no matter what type. I also adore how she adds so much character depth in her stories.

Leighton (the coach's daughter) & Miles (the hockey player) fall in love with each other, and they click pretty quickly. They meet and have a steamy night, and then they realize how else they're connected. A year passes and they still adore/lust/etc. and the story goes from there.

There is so much depth in the characters, plenty of laughs, some good steam, and of course the other character cameos from the series.

5-star.

I went into this one blind, didn't read many reviews, and never heard of this author. And I absolutely devoured it.

This one had so many true LOL moments for me, and of course, some decent spice. The characters were fun, and I hope I can't wait to read more from this author. The devil and the witch end up together after a night of fun & drinks for the witch sisters. And then the drunken summons of the devil. Throw in a bind and some fun ways to break said spell, and there are plenty of laughs throughout.

Shane East & Samantha Brentmoor absolutely nailed the narration and I'm not sure any other two could have topped their performance of it!

4.75 rounded up, and I can't wait to read more from her.

A twisty version of a popular trope

AJ McDine is a new author for me, and I came across this in the Audible Plus Catalog, so I decided to try it while I'm on a psychological thriller kick.

It's a friends summoned to a gathering trope, with some decent twists. I didn't figure the big one out immediately, which was nice. The characters are all pretty irritating in their way. I enjoyed how it was a bit different from other books I've read with this trope, and I'll read/listen to more from this author soon.

The multi cast narration was done very well.

I wanted to like this since I usually do enjoy Tara Sivec's books, but this one didn't do it for me. Maybe I'll try reading a physical or Kindle copy. The narration wasn't great, and that could be what made me dislike it.

Caroline, all grown up, gets to finally find some closure after losing her family. This was another emotional story, but not dark, thankfully.

Another Grady Hendrix winner!

I've always been a fan of Grady Hendrix, and this book is right up there with the rest of his. This one is a little different but still excellent.

He writes a story with 99% of the view being from one of the women, or more like girls, and I think he does a fantastic job with it. It isn't necessarily your standard horror, but it's got that campy vibe with very some graphic birth scenes, so keep that in mind if you are going to read it.

The setting is 1970, in FL, with a home for unwed girls who find themselves pregnant. And at that time, that was a big fat "oh no, you didn't" vibe. So Fern/Neve is sent there and meets a diverse cast of characters in that same predicament. Then the traveling library shows up, and things start getting weird. Hence the name of the book. The beginning moves a bit slower than I hoped, but once it gets going, it flies.

And the narration was superb. I loved it.

o this is an older MQ book, and it is not the cutesy rom-coms she is amazing at these days. These were two duets that made me hit ALL.THE.FEELS!

If you are looking for something that will break your heart, stomp on it, and slowly piece it back together, this is for you. Two duets, and book one of each duet. ends on a heartbreaking cliffhanger. Thankfully, it's a box set that keeps you going without stopping.

I might need to re-read a good ol' MQ rom-com to reset.

And of course, Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell are absolutely perfect!

What a fun listen! My husband raved about this book and kept telling me how much I'd like it, so he gifted me the Audible version, and I devoured it.

We get all the perks of the 80's B-movie era, with a washed-up actor and the anger he gets when they decide to re-make....err, re-imagine HIS movie, and not allow him in it!

Kristopher Triana nails the storytelling here with a great cast of diverse characters. That's precisely what every one of those old movies needed. Some are likable, some are not, but it works perfectly.

The audio version took it to a new level with Chuck Brugee's narration. He is perfect for it, and I can't believe I'd never listened to him before. I will be looking for more soon.

I went into this one after reading the reviews that said it's more of a sad story than a romantic comedy, and those reviews were correct, although it does end with an HFN...

This one touches on some things that are very near and dear to my heart right now, such as a parent with Alzheimer's and an MMC with diagnosed depression. Those parts of the story were woven in wonderfully. The author did a fantastic job of character-building, and the story was beautifully told.
