Beware of this content is dark and graphic

I cannot return this title so I just wanted to let the readers know this is not the Fern Michaels reading you might be used to and this initial story of the women was way too graphic for me. My mistake by not reading the violent and graphic nature of the story. Buyer beware.

So different and written in an evesdrop sort of way. creative conversation that keeps the attention. This one I'll listen to a few times. Not a predictable ending but very satisfying and left me to smile.

Pleasant story and setting for all ages

Story setting is a nice pleasant place to be and visit through the characters and their experiences accentuating small town living. If you like Lillian Jackson Braun (the cat who) you might also like this author. Narrator is superb. Morals brought forth in the story, one involving a different culture are touching. Very enjoyable atmosphere and nice place to visit.

nice little Christmas story better than most that

better than most stories that I found this season. uplifting positive story that is narrated very differently but I found it easy to follow. Interesting type of narration.

Excellent hard to find story telling

I'm an adult but this was beneath me. I enjoyed it and was sometimes amazed at the image building story telling and am sorry it escaped me for so long. Teaches respect for the animals.

It's a story I'm glad to have parts of

It was an interested into maybe a quarter of the book, it was interesting to get into the life view and style of a handicapped person. In some places it gets to be a little too much. Depends upon what you might go to reading for. Personally, I listen at night instead of reading and I look for pleasant stories without too much noise. This was not that story. So, I listened in the day time and some areas towards the end were a little gross (for me). It's a story I'm glad to have heard parts of. No harm no foul. worth a read. The narrator is pleasant enough but the sound effects sometimes are over the top

Good narration Good story aging issues

This is an interesting journey to take with the main character who I came to the conclusion was a born narcissist. Hmmm. That is not a criticism but a fact from my POV anyway. I found myself sometimes relating to her trials, sometimes questioning her actions, and sometimes just not agreeing with her choices. Like having her very physically limited in mind and body husband drive across the states on our highways so they could take a final trip together because she needed a chouffer, mostly because she couldn't drive well, and if there were one thing he was good at even though he couldn't remember who she was or where they were, it was driving. I felt so sorry for the poor confused man quite a few times. Once vowing to give it up, return it and get my money back from audible. Because irresponsibility just grates on me, in any form, especially when it involves imposing and affecting even effecting the lives of others...not only her husband's, but anyone and everyone who happen to be on the highway or along side it.
That said, there are several areas of love and aging that are rather poignant and some things that are good to open up and address.
I'm glad I read it, also glad I'm done with it.
