what a great read to help understand the season of history we are living through. while frightening in the potential of what we are seeing it is comforting to know that we as a peoples have been through this before and while it may bring chaos it may also bring opportunity. what a great read and way to look at the long strokes of modern history to help us understand where we are going. well worth the time to listen.

This series has alot of good information for those interested in looking into the religion. Several books repeat and provide the same info over and over. For practitioners getting the actual book version would be much better to get the reference material and to be able to refer to practices.

The messages and ideas presented here will help any human and likely some non humans with being more human. I enjoyed it from start to finish even the acknowledgment section that usually is very skippable. I would go so far to say any people who don't read this book can not be considered good people and we can going forward now in our society merely ask someone when we meet them if they have read it and if the answer is no turn and walk away knowing we missed nothing of value from that interaction. So if your thinking about buying reading or listening to it please do, so the rest of us will know your a passable human being worth the effort. Thank you Mr. Schur for the great 9 plus hours of my life they were made better by this book.

Good information ruined by poor performance

I enjoyed and was interested in the concepts covered in this anthology and finding it three and one felt it was a good value. can't be sure as I won't be buying the actual book but either the author or narrator love to repeat themselves. several chapters Atlee word for word copies of prior chapters. the narrator struggles with many terms and often would fumble on words over and over making it a very distracting listen. I'd recommend another source or picking up the actual book if you are interested.

even after all this time the story as told by Mr. sagan still excites the imagination and awakens the child like wonder of star gazing. highly recommend.
