I am not one to write reviews but just had too. I love how in each of your books the men or so loyal and the women are so string, sexy and real. I love that you don't shy away from desire and love (NOT JUST SEX). I love how you spoke so openly about counseling for children and adults. This is just one of many that made me a real fan. However, what made me have to write a review is to praise your vocal performers. They are what bring the chapters to life for me and have me reading the same book 6 times in a row before moving on to your next book :-). Thank you for using them and thank them for really bringing the characters to life!

I have NEVER written a review before BUT I had to write a review after the first book.

After the first book I became such a fan, I immediately bought all the books in this series on site.

This author knows how to tell a strong black love story! But what did it for me where the narrators….narrators…. narrators….. they made an already good story AMAZING!!!!! They truly brought the charters to life for me.

I understand why she used the same narrators for each book because they are GREAT and I don’t think anyone else could have given the charters the LIFE they do. In fact as I was buying the other books I looked to make sure it is the same narrators. It was so I bought the rest on-site. I stumbled on to this Author by mistake but I am so glad I did because I am a fan!!!!!! 🥰❤️.

Keep them coming please and I will keep buying and listening.

Good Story Bad Performer

I wish I could give the reader 0 stars

The overall story was great. Very hot! However the narrator made it very hard to listen and enjoy. He made them sound like stupid, sex craved, perverts. I hated to listen because he sounded like he was running out of breath. I found myself holding my breath and then breathing deep for him so he does not pass out. Did not enjoy listing, which is too bad because the story was HOT! However I ended the story feeling like a dirty old man listing to it, and I am a woman. Keeping the book because the story is good but very upset at the reader. STOP IT!!!!!

Very Disappointed.

I hate writing bad reviews but I have to be honest. The title was very misleading. The story was more about the sick little girl (her daughter), mom’s financial struggle and his money than being “color blind”. The carters where not well developed and the supporting charters (short of her best friend and baby sitter) was unnecessary as they added nothing to the story. Also being a black female from a family with almost the same views, how quickly the family came around was unrealistic. Also the way the writer wrote the story was very hard to follow. I did not know who was talking and the time line, as EVERYTHIG and EVERONE sounded the same. The narrator sounded as if she got the job by knowing the writer and not because this is her profession. I was very disappointed. I unfortunately will be returning this book. I bought another book from this author, now I am thinking of returning it before I even read it. Very disappointed. I really wanted to love it.

Female Voice saved by S York!!!

This story was awesome but that female reader is HORRIBLE!!! I stopped the book many times ready to return it but S YORK saved it for me...because I wanted to hear more of him..... he is a horrible reader and made the characters sound “off”.... I will never get another book with her again even with S YORK... it was to hard to listen :-(...

After reading some of the reviews I didn't know what to expect but I took a chance and I loved it. Glad I took that chance! In fact, I bought all of her books. I have been a member of Audible since 2005 and have only been inspired to writer a review maybe one other time, I had to take the time to write a review for this book.

Now the performance can get a little annoying at times, but of you listen to the words, I think that is the personality of the characters and not the performers so I will give them a pass. But very good story line, kept my interest.

However, I did struggle with staying interested in book three of the club series. I did not feel like that book really moved or added the story for me.

Even better than the first

Excellent book. Better then the first. I am in awe of a writer that can weave such a story. Read this story 3 times in a row (back to back). Exotic, romantic with a excellent story line. I am a huge fan. Jasinda Wilder you have a new fan and follower and please write more. I read the other reviews and the review that spoke about the uselessness of Roth and the need for the lovers to use a condom clearly has never truly loved and has never truly suffered. Jasinda Wilder did an excellent job developing the characters and their roles.
