Historia
In the fall of 1876, two Swiss spies came to America and conducted some of the most covert and consequential industrial espionage in history, changing the course of the global watch industry forever. Had the events of 1876 never happened, we would likely know little of Swiss watches today.

A tale of watches and espionage with wider lessons
Revisado: 06-13-23
The book's narrator was fantastic, skillfully guiding me through a captivating era of intense competition in the watch industry. Despite not being a watch connoisseur, the narrative took me on a journey that explored valuable lessons applicable to any competitive field. It shed light on the pitfalls often encountered by successful companies when they reach the pinnacle of success.
The book's well-researched content seamlessly intertwined economic espionage, creating a gripping tale that provided both informative insights and an enjoyable reading experience. It served as a cautionary guide for business practitioners while offering a weary tale of business lessons that resonated effortlessly.

Historia
We are accustomed to think of sociopaths as violent criminals, but in The Sociopath Next Door, Harvard psychologist Martha Stout reveals that a shocking 4 percent of ordinary people, one in 25, has an often undetected mental disorder, the chief symptom of which is that that person possesses no conscience. He or she has no ability whatsoever to feel shame, guilt, or remorse. One in 25 everyday Americans, therefore, is secretly a sociopath.

great listen with very good personas
Revisado: 08-15-20
I really enjoyed this book and found myself trying to identify the sociopaths in my life. I would love a later addendum that explained more of the spectrum of sociopaths instead of just the clear cut personas. I will gift this book to others. it's very insightful for human behavior.

great read for anyone touched by mental health
Revisado: 12-20-18
Overall, a very well written and researched book. It does a great job showing how money and greed have played a big role in psychiatry. I highly recommend this book for anyone facing a choice of medication for mental health.
