Historia
The whirlwind of chaos and confusion barreling toward you has likely caught you completely off guard. Maybe you're navigating a season of transition—a career shift, a major life adjustment, or just an unshakable sense of disorientation. When the things that once brought fulfillment no longer seem to work, when the familiar feels foreign, and when life feels like it's slipped out of your control, you're actually in the perfect position for God to lead you to greater heights.

Great examples, great scripture, great challenges and confidence in Jesus’ truth through deep questions. Questions have answers and those produce more confidence for me.

JO is gifted
Revisado: 03-18-25
The ability to walk through pain beside someone clinging to a less Christian, more “spiritual” concept like AA’s 12 steps is brilliant. Ortberg is humble, selfless, well-researched and writes in a very approachable tone.

What a beautiful depiction of prayer — the study, the art, the discipline. I’m so inspired to spend more time in prayer daily. Not just when I need something, not just when I’m grateful; just conversing with the Creator.

The words I didn’t know I was searching for
Revisado: 01-20-25
This book isn’t only an incredible start to healing, but, I suppose as part of the healing process, it gives words and thoughts to experiences and circumstances that manifest in action. Not just “this happened to me as a youth and now I’m addicted to porn”, but “this type of thing caused me to be angry and helpless as a youth. Porn was an instrument used to cope and give myself the illusion of control, thus temporarily diffusing my anger and creating a maliciously harmful cycle for self-cope.”

Revisado: 01-12-25
Strahan allows his pain to be used for Good. I’m so inspired by the simple ways we can use our bodies to pray; that note combines from the end of the book but is a huge takeaway.
