I can't stand stupidity in characters that are supposedly intelligent. "oh, no, can't call 911. let me look around, put my finger prints all over; possibly use up someone's last few minutes of life etc, etc. I could go on and on. DON"T BE SO STUPID WHEN YOU ALREADY KNOW PEOPLE ARE BEING KILLED, YOU IDIOT. are you sure she didn't just sell newspapers on the corner?

this narrator has no personality. she gives the impression she is only reading words not hearing them or knowing what the book is about - and she is THE AUTHOR. I've put more warmth and excitement into reading a spelling test list for my kids!

What made the experience of listening to Morgue Drawer for Rent the most enjoyable?

I like all the main characters - they're fun, nice, crazy. The narrator is great for the voices and perfect for sasha.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

a different name for carmella.- sounds like her mom was high on ooey gooey marsmallow ice cream topping when she named her.

What didn’t you like about Danielle Ferland’s performance?

she sounds like she thinks she's reading dr. suess to 8 year olds. she'd be great reading kids stuff, but I keep thinking she's reading with a smile on her face and a finger in her cheek.

the townspeople. I'm originally from a small town, but most of us were nice, ordinary people - the people in this town - all of them - are nasty.

p lease everyone - stop with the" sanitize my hands stuff "- did you read War of the Worlds? unless you're working with the CDC or tramping through buckets of disease YOU DO NOT NEED TO SANITIZE so obsessively .- wash your hands, shower normally, etc., etc. You did manage to grow and flourish all these years, didn't you? The book was fun though I will read more of them ( in case you're wondering, I spent 26 years as an ER nurse - sanitized at work - washed normally at home and survived to a healthy retirement)

This woman is a clutz falling over a root gazing at a guy she likes while on the job and having just fallen down a hill is moronic. Falling into a body where she is supposed to be containing a scene is termination.

a new definition of "underworld"

suspensful, shivery. I like Chess. She is a fighter, she gets her job done and seems to stick to her word even when she would rather not. And who doesn't love a muscle car.( the guy driving it is pretty exciting, too) We need more of Chess and the people that inhabit that dark, gritty, interesting world.
