I’m a creative, though not a “designer” perse by societal standards, but this was an amazing read for anyone, especially for those of us in the African diaspora. It enabled me to invite an expansion of mind and develop confidence in my identity and how I can preserve spaces that protect my identity. I left the reading of this book with a newfound confidence to identify myself as a designer.
