Historia
The Indomitus Crusade continues its war across the stars. The primarch Roboute Guilliman has finally broken through the orkish threat bedevilling the sectors near Fenris, and makes ready to push on his bid to stabilise the Imperium Sanctus—but old and bitter foes stand in his way. Kor Phaeron, the Dark Cardinal, threatens the previously stable core of the Segmentum Solar. Waves of rebellion instigated by his infiltrating priests suggest an imminent, large-scale invasion by the Word Bearers Legion.

Historia
The second novel in Isaac Asimov’s classic science-fiction masterpiece, the Foundation series. Led by its founding father, the psychohistorian Hari Seldon, and utilizing science and technology, the Foundation survived the greed and barbarism of its neighboring warrior-planets. Now cleverness and courage may not be enough. For the Empire - the mightiest force in the Galaxy - is even more dangerous in its death throes. Even worse, a mysterious entity called the Mule has appeared with powers beyond anything humanly conceivable. Who - or what - is the Mule?

writing that flows like none other.
Revisado: 06-18-21
To think this came out in 1952 blows my mind. I have never come across a story that flows so easily and covers such large ideas and concepts. If you have a interest in the "Foundation " of an empire, you have to read this book! Also the performance the narrator gives is fantastic! clear easy to understand voice with great voice inflection! *

I tried.
Revisado: 05-15-20
I'll admit right away I only got half way through the book, but having listened for over 8 hours I feel I can forum an opinion of this book. The main character has his moments at being funny or interesting but it's just far in between. He seems to be amazing at everythkng, which can work sometimes but in this book the character just comes off as an neckbeard who says super cringe things while trying to make someone look bad infront of a woman, this happens often. it's hard to describe what I don't like about this book without a real deep dive review but I'm not gonna do that while on my phone.what I can say is to me if feels like this book will appeal to people who want their hero be the best at everything, who is the best musician, makes grown men and women weep while he plays his lute.

Simply great in all 3 levels
Revisado: 04-19-20
The story moves with a great pace and was filled with great action scenes and the funny moments to keep the book going. The characters all feel very different from one another and you find yourself excited to see what has happened since we last saw the character . The narration is simply top notch! The narrator manages a large collection of voices for different characters and found it was very clear and enjoyable performance, felt like the performer really enjoyed this story as well. I am not great about writing a review but I simply loved the series and listened to the three books in a weeks time.

Worth your time
Revisado: 04-11-20
I just loved this Audio book, the Narrator really makes it feel like you are listening to a story while you sit in a tavern. What I loved about this book is it knows exactly what it is, and it does it well. Its the standard fantasy story but unlike most the author really keeps a good pace through the whole book. The main character does have his flaws, but what is refreshing is he will learn from them very quickly, unlike many fantasy novels where the main character never seems to grow and avoid the same old mistakes.
