Historia
There may be no story today with a wider gap between fact and fiction than the relationship between the United States and Mexico. Through portraits of business leaders, migrants, chefs, movie directors, police officers, and media and sports executives, Andrew Selee looks at this emerging Mexico, showing how it increasingly influences our daily lives in the United States in surprising ways - the jobs we do, the goods we consume, and even the new technology and entertainment we enjoy.

Terrible Reading Performance
Revisado: 03-01-20
I found the content of this book to be quite in-depth and well detailed. However, the reading was terrible, including mispronunciation of common Spanish words like the city Merida. The reader also read every sentence as if it was an earth-shattering piece of information that was spoken to convince the listener of the veracity of the fact. The result, sadly, was that the reading made the text sound a little pollyannish. I almost gave up on it due to the reader, but kept listening as the information till itself was interesting and just what I was looking for. I’d recommend the author consider doing the readings himself in the future, instead of having someone else do them.
