When Mr. Hollister’s sport and toy store, The Trading Post, is robbed, his main concern is for his invention, a new type of collapsible canoe. He is therefore surprised to discover that a Geiger counter and a couple of pickaxes are the only missing items. After putting the problem of the theft in the hands of the police, the family turns to the matter of testing the canoe.

High Quality Adventure/Mystery Book With Timeless Values For Children!

My boys (ages 7, 5 and 2 2 year olds) absolutely can't get enough of The Happy Hollister's and this was another that did not disappoint! At the end of each chapter they are always on the edge of their seat wanting to know what happens next. We highly recommend this series for all families who enjoy adventure, want to teach values and morals to their children and enlarge their vocabulary. These are wholesome books and contain high quality writing. The voice reading of the book was wonderful as well. We can't for our next adventure with the Hollister family!
