Amazing and Thoughtful

People like Liz Cheney are the only reason that the US is still a democracy. I admire her courage and conviction in the face of so much professional and personal adversity. Her book details one of the darkest hours that we have seen in this country. It describes how she and others are fighting to preserve our democracy. She points out that differences regarding policy and political party do not matter when it comes to defending our constitution. Anyone interested in the unvarnished truth about what happened prior to and after January 6 should read this book. Thank you Liz.

If you enjoy the suspense and humor of Raymond Chandler then you are going to love this series. I am so sorry that I have finished the series already. The Cordell Logan books were so much fun that I just could not stop myself. I guess I will have to listen to them all over again and hope that a new Cordell Logan book comes out soon. Ray Porter is the perfect narrator for this series. He makes Cordell Logan come alive.

The most memorable moment is when the dolphins ask why it took so look for people to talk to them when the other people already can.

My favorite scene is when the President punched the idiot that caused all the problems.

This is a very enjoyable book. It has many of the qualities of a P. G. Wodehouse novel. A good measure of romance, comedy, villains, and love plus plenty of twists and turns in the plot to keep the reader interested.
