Interesting twist

I've never read anything by this author before but I will definitely be adding her to my favorites list. this was an interesting twist to a vampire story. There was mystery, romance, a crime story all wrapped up together. The story moved quickly and kept my interest the entire time. I enjoyed the narrator.

I started this series with book 10. I really love the narrator, Tanya Eby. she does a fantastic job. Liz and Ethan fell in love in high school, she got pregnant and now 11 years later she is returning to Fool's Gold. Her reputation is still haunting her after all these years. this story shows her struggle to move past her past, Ethan's struggle to accept his mistakes and the town's struggle to accept their part in the past.Very well done!

This is a great start to this series. I thoroughly enjoyed the story line. The interaction between all the characters was lively and funny. I loved listening to the story unfold. Already prchased book 2.
