It Was We’ll Worth My Credit

This was a great story with minimal interrelationship conflict. The MFC was very immature for most of the storyline, however she was pretty young. I appreciated that although he was patient with her, he also didn’t tolerate her mess. It was nice to see her growth and even better to see their love continue to develop. This was my first book by this author. I look forward to more of this author’s books.

A Bittersweet Love Story

This was a bittersweet love story. It could have been longer to parse out more character development. The narration was awful. The narrators were not able to impart the tones and accents to accurately portray the characters in the story.

A beautiful story of love, loss and renewal

This story will take you through a gamut of emotions. I laughed, cringed, cried and guffawed. The writing was exceptional. The author is a master of using language that makes you feel as if this could be you and your story. I couldn’t stop listening and then when it was close to ending I didn’t want to get to the end. Best book I’ve experienced this year. Kudos to Ms. Ryan.

This Has it All

Romance? Intrigue? Mystery? Great sex? Yes! This book has it all. I’m making my way through “The Killers” series and I am NOT disappointed! They all have great story lines with tons of action in and out of the bedroom. I highly recommend!

Interesting Story, Poor Execution

I wanted to like this book. I listened until the end only because I wanted to know how it ended. I found the dialogue very dated, and almost intolerable honestly. The narrator did not help at all. He missed many nuances in conversation, making the male characters often sound belittling and scolding of the female character. The narrator couldn’t keep the voices consistent and often mixed them up leading to confusion of who was speaking. I finally skipped through much of the last two chapters because I just couldn’t tolerate the awful dialogue any longer. The ending did not make it worth the hours I spent listening to this horrible book.The story line had great potential, but the actual writing, dialogue and narration made for poor execution.
