Historia
On a beautiful summer night in a charming English suburb, a young woman and her boyfriend disappear after partying at the massive country estate of a new college friend. One year later, a writer moves into a cottage on the edge of the woods that border the same estate. Known locally as the Dark Place, the dense forest is the writer’s favorite place for long walks and it’s on one such walk that she stumbles upon a mysterious note that simply reads, “DIG HERE.”

Historia
In the middle of the night, in a house on a quiet street in suburban Minneapolis, intruders silently murder Luke Ellis' parents and load him into a black SUV. The operation takes less than two minutes. Luke will wake up at The Institute, in a room that looks just like his own, except there's no window. And outside his door are other doors, behind which are other kids with special talents - telekinesis and telepathy - who got to this place the same way Luke did: Kalisha, Nick, George, Iris, and 10-year-old Avery Dixon.

My favorite SK novel!
Revisado: 11-14-19
This book was really great! Very fast paced and an easy read. I would say one of my favorite books by him, right up there next to 11/22/1963. I just finished reading "It" before this one, and loved it, not found that there was a good bit of 'superfluous' and this one was not like that. Definitely give it a read!

Just finished
Revisado: 06-04-19
Enjoyed this book, especially the narration! It was by far the best narration I've heard. It has cool background noise for effect on some scenes that I loved. The story is very predictable with a little twist at the end. It did keep me returning to read, but is not the most exciting I've ever read. Overall I'd say I enjoyed it.

Historia
Ten years ago, six friends went on vacation. One made it out alive... In that instant, college student Quincy Carpenter became a member of a very exclusive club - a group of survivors the press dubbed “The Final Girls”: Lisa, who lost nine sorority sisters to a college dropout's knife; Sam, who endured the Sack Man during her shift at the Nightlight Inn; and now Quincy, who ran bleeding through the woods to escape the massacre at Pine Cottage. Despite the media's attempts, the three girls have never met.

Pretty good - chapters 30-44 are the best
Revisado: 01-31-19
This is a mediocre book. I did enjoy it, but found the first 20-30 chapters to be somewhat lacking. It does get to be a "page-turner" by the time it gets to around chapter 30 or so, but goodness, getting there was sort of boring. I found myself wanting to give up for a more "fast-paced" book, but trudged through because I wanted to know the ending. Overall, I would still say I enjoyed the book, but to me it did not meet the rave reviews I read before purchasing.

Then they found Jane's note: I wish we were dead together. From that day the town turned against her. But even now Jane is filled with questions: Why were they on that road? Why was she with David? Did she really want to die?

Great book! I loved it!
Revisado: 01-22-19
This book seemed a little slower at first but still kept my attention. However, towards the middle it became almost too good to press pause!! I really enjoyed it very much and loved all the twists and turns. One of my favorite so far, and I sometimes have a hard time getting into audiobooks unless they are riveting. I didn't like how the same person didn't always voice the same character, but that didn't happen often and you are far enough in that you can tell who is speaking from context and the storyline. Overall a must read!!
