Historia
Neil Gaiman has long been inspired by ancient mythology in creating the fantastical realms of his fiction. Now he turns his attention back to the source, presenting a bravura rendition of the great northern tales. In Norse Mythology, Gaiman fashions primeval stories into a novelistic arc that begins with the genesis of the legendary nine worlds; delves into the exploits of the deities, dwarves, and giants; and culminates in Ragnarok, the twilight of the gods and the rebirth of a new time and people.

Historia
Permitted Fruit breaks down the pitfalls of dieting and diet culture, and offers a surprisingly simple path to heal your emotional and physical relationship with food. But if it’s not another diet, what is it? Just eat. Eat whatever you want. Celebrate your cravings and tune in to your hunger. There is no Forbidden Fruit, which is a scary idea at first, but you’ll learn to trust your body. Oh, and don’t forget to relax, take a deep breath, and love yourself in the process.

My husband and O have resisted restricting food or dieting. Just before I read this book I we decided to change that and start restricting. I am so glad I read this book!

Historia
How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Disappointing
Revisado: 01-24-20
I was very disappointed at the graphic nature of this book. It was peddling filth and included swearing. I would not recommend this book.
