I liked the narration overall except the narrator repeated sentences much much too often! It was as if he didn't know he'd read a certain one and read it again or didn't like the way he'd delivered it and read it again. That was very annoying. Other than that, he did a good job. This reading needed an editor.

I can see what this author was trying to convey clearly but was not succeeding in the telling. This story was too transparent for my liking and the main character was made to look so gullible and stupid that I had to force myself to keep reading. I don't want to be rude but it was painfully obvious what the child was doing right from the very beginning. I wanted to scream by the time I got to the cabin at the seaside. Nice try though.

While I did not laugh as much at the characters in this second book I did enjoy listening. It is hard to believe this is "kid lit" because I think adults find the stories quite funny and I think it is at times right over a kid's head. Wonderful writer, wonderful story. Thanks

I thought the characters were developed very well and also introduced very smoothly. I enjoyed the play and tension between Savina and Shelton. Very well done. The overall story kept me entertained and I appreciated that one. I like these characters and the way they sort of show up in each other's stories. Another great story by Marla Josephs.

This author wrote a full complete story in an impossibility short time! I was amazed! The story had meat and it kept me riveted from start to finish. While this really isn't my genre, I was impressed with the tale and the telling of it. I will look for more from Victor Alao. Good job narrating from Robert Ricotta.

I loved the performance by Eric Bryan Moore. He made the characters come alive for me and he was easy to follow.
What was one of the most memorable moments of We Are Holding the President Hostage?
The most memorable moments were when the mafia actually got around the president and first lady and successfully carried out the kidnapping. I was on pins and needles!
Which character – as performed by Eric Bryan Moore – was your favorite?
I would say that the President and the Mafia boss were my two favorites.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes! It was so hard to put it down because I wanted to see what would happen next and how it would end.
