Historia
Everyone in Moorvale believes the legend: The brave knight Tristan and the famed wizard Vithric, in an epic battle decades ago, had defeated the evil Nethergrim and his minions. To this day, songs are sung and festivals held in the heroes' honor. Yet now something dark has crept over the village. First animals disappear, their only remains a pile of bones licked clean. Then something worse: children disappear. The whispers begin quietly yet soon turn into a shout: The Nethergrim has returned!

I don't like fantasy and I loved this
Revisado: 01-06-22
in our house, my wife is the fantasy lover and I am more thriller and Sci fi. however this was the perfect mix of the hobbit, the rangers apprentice and something else that was just right for me

Ya Done Goofed Yourself
Revisado: 05-27-21
I LOVED your first book in this series. a solid 10. it was unique and had a rich back story and lore. the nation's and characters had motivations that could be understood and their responses to new challenges were believable.
Book 2 was a 7 or an 8. a good book for sure but it seemed like you started to really rush humanities progress and many decisions characters were making started to make less sense at the 3rd act.
Book 3 was a 2. by this point it feels like we are rushing. act 1 was decent and I enjoyed learning more about warship production, however, every ship built of mentioned is obsolete before it is even finished because while it is being built ANOTHER new amazing set of tech is just gifted to mankind which leads to even newer warships being laid down. this cycle repeats several times.
by act 3 I felt that this series was now long unique or creative. the concept for the alliance structure seems to be lifted from the expedition force series, the stargate in space from season 10 of stargate sg1, the collective being replicators from stargate sg1, the orbots being Borg from star trek. plz dont get me started about the "Terminators" or the "Galactic Empire".
I feel disappointed.... you started off so strong....

Good but not believale
Revisado: 10-09-17
Leia's mother, Padme, is the unaddressed motif that comes up again and again. Time and again Leia encounters situations where her biological parents put her in danger, and Leia never once seems to try to uncover who her mother was. If some imperial officer seemed to mistake me for someone else, and then spends most of a meeting asking me about my parentage and where I was adopted from and then implies I was of distinguished stock I would be running home asking who my mom and dad were.... Leia... nope nothing.

What would have made Thrawn (Star Wars) better?
If there had been any audio playing from the audio file....any what so ever... Im just watching the seconds tick by on my 24 dollar purchase with no audio playing....
Would you ever listen to anything by Timothy Zahn again?
I love Timothy Zahn and own the Thrawn Trilogy.. Have been looking forward to this book since it was announced.
