Historia
Eileen Sharp and Vic Hightower were frustrated. After years of profitable, predictable growth, Swan Services was in a rut. Meetings were called and discussions held, but few decisions were made and even less got done. People were pointing fingers and assigning blame, but nothing happened to solve Swan’s mounting problems. It felt as though they were working harder than ever but with less impact. The company Eileen and Vic had founded and built for 10 years was a different place. It just wasn’t fun anymore.

Excellent story that follows the teaching of EOS to a fictional small business. Great stuff. I'm about to order the hard cover and listen to certain sections again. I listen at 2X speed and it was easy to listen and follow. Perfect compliment to Traction.

Historia
A practical approach to creating wealth-based on the established principles of ancient Jewish wisdom-made accessible to people of all backgrounds. The ups and downs of the economy prove Rabbi Daniel Lapin's famous principle that the more things change, the more we need to depend upon the things that never change. There's no better source for both practical and spiritual financial wisdom than the time-tested knowledge found in the ancient Jewish faith and its culture.

One of my Top 10

It's a tome at around 17 hrs but every chapter was insightful. It reminded me of the Jewish Phenomenon with it's cultural insight yet with a stronger business application. Well worth the read (or listen) and application of the principles.

Historia
Starting where resiliency studies leave off, two psychologists explore the science of remarkable accomplishment in the wake of trauma, revealing the surprising principles that allow people to transform their lives and achieve extraordinary things. Over four billion people worldwide will survive a trauma during their lives. Some will experience severe post-traumatic stress. Most will eventually recover and return to life as normal. But sometimes, survivors do more than bounce back. Sometimes they bounce forward.

Mostly Pros
Revisado: 03-24-15
Within are some great tear inducing stories that showcase how amazing humans can be with a smattering of what appears to be a slightly political point of view. Also the disjointed style of leaving a story and returning to it later makes it difficult for a audio book listener to follow at times. While I would not agree with all the authors conclusion it was a good investment of time.

Great content poor narration.
Revisado: 02-18-15
For some reason the narrator or producer chose an unnaturally slower than conversational pace that makes listening almost impossible. Great great content that would be better read than listened to.

Historia
In 1998, three Harvard Business School graduates - two men and one woman - turned down six-figure salaries at big corporations, bet on themselves, and launched their own new companies. By their 10-year reunion, their audacity had paid huge dividends. They'd made many millions of dollars, created hundreds of jobs and left their mark on the world. The Intelligent Entrepreneur tells the compelling and instructive story of how these three young founders did it.

A case study in life and business for us novices.
Revisado: 02-03-15
Wonderfully shares the background, struggles, growth and success of 3 very different real life entrepreneurs. I especially enjoyed the back story pre-Harvard, the obvious benefits of attending (as well as the obvious minor flaws of the institution) as well as the different path the 3 took after school. There was a good balance between the highs of success and the lows of the climb upward. The book achieves it's goal of convincing you that entrepreneurship can be learned. PS I listen at 2 or 3X so the 'performance' was fine for me but I cannot judge what normal speed sounded like. A case study in life and business for us novices.
