Learning to speak Italian with this book is sweet. I got on a whim before planning my dream trip to Italy, and it turned into my daily practice until up to obsession. The narration is relaxed but effective. I was shocked how much I could say after few chapters. No boring drills, just smooth, natural conversations that stick.

I always thought I was bad at learning languages—turns out, I was just using the wrong methods. This book makes Portuguese easy, fun, and actually useful. It skips the pointless stuff and gives you phrases you can use right away. It also uses common phrases that you can actually use.Within a week, I was forming sentences and not second-guessing myself. If you want to learn Portuguese without the headache, this is the book to get!
