Great story, but it would have been so much more enjoyable if the narrator did his research into how to pronounce names of drivers, race tracks and racing teams!! His mispronunciation distracted me from the story!

I have been aware of Adrian’s skills with his membership of the Red Bull team, but this book proves that you don’t need to be a “Rhodes Scholar” to do great things. He is a genius at design, and his early life and education obviously had a great bearing on him. Having a father who was as technically advanced helped, but Adrian’s “Bad Boy” actions added to his natural abilities and made him a well-rounded, humble man with so much to offer. A most enjoyable audio book. The only thing that would have made it better is to have Adrian read it to us! Thank you Adrian for your book.

A great book. It was especially good hearing about F1 from the point of view of a driver. Jenson writes from the heart and had me in tears at one stage. A great driver and a great writer.

Arthur upfield is a wonderful author who can paint a wonderful picture with words. He is not shackled by the main story line but describes the environment and lives of those in the story. Once you get past the old-time attitudes, and out of date use of descriptive words linked to Australian first people, it's a great story. Don't let words of the past worry you.

Narration is too precise and stilted. We are not supposed to even notice the narrators style, but be immersed in the story. Not so with this book.

After the poor narration of the last book, this one was excellent and the story line was top class, leaving us hanging and waiting for the next instalment .

Would you listen to Fall of Giants again? Why?

Yes. John Lee's reading takes me into the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Eth. Her ability to rise above mysogisistic jibes. A woman before her time.

Any additional comments?

A great story, with a good smattering of history to educate us.
