Good framework for leadership
Revisado: 09-12-24
This book provides many examples of leadership in religious contexts. Although I agree with the majority of this book is great I disagree with elements regarding subservient leadership as this is counterintuitive for profit seeking organizations. It is great to uplift your staff but needs to be aligned with long term business growth which is not as important for non-profits.

content is good but narrator is strange
Revisado: 01-14-21
The content of the book was good but the narrator has a strange way of inflecting his words. I don't know how to explain it exactly but it's a little distracting for the message of the book at times.

This book is kind of mean

why is this not taught in schools?
Revisado: 01-12-21
We teach in schools the knowledge to get a job but never about social intelligence. sure for some this might be common sense but everyone at some point has inadvertently hurt themselves by not following the suggestions in this book.
Ultimately, being able to practice the skills mentioned in the book is how you really get promoted. Not only that but if you attend a university STEM major what you learn in class is most likely outdated or not even applicable to your specific job.
I'm a little mad at myself that I didn't pick this up sooner! This book is difference between playing 2D and 3D chess in terms of interpersonal skills.
