Is fun, but had serious pacing issues
Revisado: 09-13-24
The first 2/3 of the book while fun, do not advance the at all. It is extremely frustrating to have a vast story world with great potential that rarely gets paid off. The first 10 hours are a side quest in which the MC grows strong but does nothing to address the ever-growing list of objectives that the character has. It's sad knowing that we will have to wait months to see the actual story advance in the next book.

Historia
Parties attempting to claim the treasures of the Tortoise Spire of Dalenos are usually composed of six professional climbers. But following a near-disastrous climb, Team Guiding Star Legacy finds itself two challengers short. With Nieve as the frontline fighter, Sage as the strategist, Lani as the healer, and Emiko as the spellcaster, they need a couple powerful allies to round out the squad.

I have to be honest
Revisado: 12-09-22
I purchased this book to listen to Travis Baldree, but he only narrates about 40% of this book. No disrespect to the female narrator, but Travis's excellent narration helps to enhance the stories slow narrative pace. As to the story itself, it is just a tower climb that does not do a good job of advancing the overall world or relaying any real motivation for the characters.
