Historia
Behind the alarming headlines about job losses, bank bailouts, and corporate greed, there is a little-known story of bad ideas. For 50 years or more, economists have been busy developing elegant theories of how markets work - how they facilitate innovation, wealth creation, and an efficient allocation of society's resources. But what about when markets don't work?

Spin! Spin! Spin!
Revisado: 02-04-14
What disappointed you about How Markets Fail?
Spin, spin, spin... I got so dizzy several times while reading this book that I almost fell out of my chair! But then, that is what passes for reality nowadays and by extension I suppose, what passes for reality economics as well. Even so, there is some good information in the book but its lack of objectivity and completeness is lamentable. Besides getting after those rascal bankers and utopian economists, perhaps the government should require journalists and non-fiction writers to raise their right hand and swear that their creations " tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth" before they can be admitted as evidence in the court of public opinion.
What do you think your next listen will be?
My next listen will be the Guns of August.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Ralph Cosham?
Yes
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Some good information

Historia
Gerald Livingston is an orbital garbage collector. For a hundred years, people have been abandoning things in space, and someone has to clean it up. But there’s something spinning a little bit higher than he expects, something that isn’t on the decades’ old orbital maps. An hour after he grabs it and brings it in, rumors fill Earth’s infomesh about an "alien artifact".

Interesting but

The story gets lost in the minutiae! This book desperately needs an abridged version.
The performance isn't too bad given the complexity of the story line.

Historia
From the moment he beds Desi, Caine knows turmoil will follow. Desi might have the face of a temptress, but she also has a will of iron, and while she needs his protection, she's determined that no man will control her again. They establish an uneasy bond, but it isn't enough for Caine. He wants all Desi has to offer. He wants her screams, her moans, her demands...everything. Yet there's still a bounty on Desi's head, and keeping her sexually satisfied is proving easier than keeping her alive.

Caine's Reckoning
Revisado: 11-14-07
I was extremely disappointed in this book. I was looking for a historical romance. While the story line held some potential, the writer spent most of her time on explicit descriptions of sex and very little time on the actual plot of the story. I Fast-forwarded thru most of the book to find out what happened, only to be disappointed with a weak ending to the tale. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing the book!!!
