First of all the narrators did a wonderful job and I would definitely listen to them again. The story was very cute but pretty predictable. I was hoping there’d be a bit more firefighter action but it felt like the author was trying to give it more of a sports twist 😅
Over all a cute/cheesy small town single parent romance

Oh man my heart 😩 I know this book just released last month but I’m gonna need that second book ASAP 🥲
This book had me absolutely HOOKED from chapter 2 and it never let up! I absolutely love the plot and the characters! Freya has been let failed by just about everyone who is close to her. But despite all that she is a very strong minded woman and although there are things in her life far out of her control she refuses to do just about anything without a fight. She’s badass and has very really and very STRONG emotions. I found it easy to relate to her as she struggled to wade through her man’s try to choose what choice was right. But there were also times I just wanted to yell at her to chose differently 😅
Bjorn. This man had me in a choke hold from the very beginning. The things I would do to get him POV🙃 the witty banter with freya the pining for one another that they both kept so in check FOR SO DANG LONG. talk about SLOW BURN🥵 I will say imma need him to have some pretty dang good answers when we get to book two though!

I read Forbidden part 1&2 earlier this year and absolutely fell in love with this cinnamon roll as pack! So when the audiobook came out I was worried the narrators wouldn’t fit the voices I’d already created for these characters.
THEY WERE SO GOOD! Amber voiced Josie even better than I could ever imagine. And the way she voiced the guys (especially Cam🌚) was done so well you don’t even think about it all being one person voicing them. And the same goes for Jameson! He was so good🔥And have each pack member a distinct tone or accent. And he voided Josie very well!
I cannot wait for part two to release!♥️
