Historia
Sydney Shaw, like every single woman in New York, has terrible luck with dating. She’s seen it all: men who lie in their dating profile, men who stick her with the dinner bill, and worst of all, men who can't shut up about their mothers. But finally, she hits the jackpot. Her new boyfriend is utterly perfect. He's charming, handsome, and works as a doctor at a local hospital. Sydney is swept off her feet. Then the brutal murder of a young woman—the latest in a string of deaths across the coast—confounds police. The primary suspect? A mystery man who dates his victims before he kills them.

The story is okay. It was good enough to finish the book but not as good as I hoped it would be. The narration was good.

One of the greatest mystery thrillers ever written, Wilkie Collins's The Woman in White was a phenomenal best seller in the 1860s, achieving even greater success than works by Charles Dickens. Full of surprise, intrigue, and suspense, this vastly entertaining novel continues to enthrall audiences today.

Good Story - Irritating main character
Revisado: 11-27-24
Overall a really good story. The main character Feyre is really irritating . She doesn't listen to any sound advice from anyone. Indicating that she thinks she's the only one who knows what's right. So, that said I wanted to scream at regular intervals.
The story is unique and interesting with captivating periods of tense situations. Many (but not all) of the characters are well done and interesting. There are also unnecessary sexual scenes which don't need to be part of the story. I don't understand when writers feel the need to throw in some sexual content in every story. If I want a sex and romance novel I will get one to read. This book had some romance that is integral to the story but the sex was not integral.
Not sure if I'll read the next one because many of the reviews state that it is sexually explicit AGAIN! And that the first third of the book is boring.

Horrible Ending
Revisado: 09-29-24
I won’t spoil it but i absolutely hated the ending! I know the author is setting up the story for the next book but the ending really made me mad. I enjoyed the book (although not as much as the first 2 books) it kept me interested. The narrators are great. The last portion of the story just really irked me. Not sure if I’ll continue the series or not.

Only okay
Revisado: 09-09-24
This book could have been half the length if the disabled child outbursts were left out. Now I don't have children so maybe I'm just being insensitive but I didn't find it necessary. I actually found it extremely annoying. The sounds the narrator made grated on my nerves. The main character was not very likeable. She was an attorney but a very unprofessional one. The entire story just didn't flow well. It was really unbelievable. So... don't waste your time. I only gave it 3 stars (instead of less) because I was able to finish it.
