Historia
Based on five years of proprietary research, How Remarkable Women Lead speaks to you as no other book has, with its hopeful outlook and unique ideas about success. It's the new "right stuff" of leadership, raising provocative issues such as whether feminine leadership traits (for women and men) are better suited for our fast-changing, hyper-competitive, and increasingly complex world. In this book, McKinsey & Company consultants Joanna Barsh and Susie Cranston establish the links between joy, happiness, and distinctive performance with the groundbreaking model of Centered Leadership.

Too simplistic
Revisado: 09-20-15
Wanted real tips about leadership not banalities and pep talks. Only recommend this book if you are very insecure and haven't been in the work market for a long time. Otherwise pretty patronizing stuff.

Historia
At once a murder mystery, a moving love story, and a riveting portrait of a unique time and place - Berlin, July 1945 - The Good German is a historical thriller of the first rank. The New York Times calls it "thoroughly captivating, a novel that brings to life the ambiguities at the heart of our country's moral legacy."

Not as good as I hoped
Revisado: 08-10-15
But interesting nonetheless if you are interested in that period of history. Narration occasionally annoying.

Historia
The Pax Britannica trilogy is Jan Morris’s magnificent history of the British Empire from 1837 to 1965. Huge in scope and ambition, it is always personal and immediate, bringing the story vividly to life. Pax Britannica, the second volume, is a snapshot of the Empire at the Diamond Jubilee of 1897. It looks at what made up the Empire —from adventurers and politicians to communications and infrastructure, as well as anomalies and eccentricities.

One of the best series I've ever read.
Revisado: 04-18-15
It's history come to life, brilliantly told and narrated. Suitable for the educated lay person, not just academics. Excellent read.
