Great story, but WORST NARRAATOR EVER!

Overall, this was a pretty good story, unfortunately it had the absolutely WORST NARRATOR EVER! Do you remember being in 5th grade and the teacher calls on a student to read, but the student has a dead monotone voice and slowly speaks. That is this narrator, Paul Fanning. It is like listening to the dead read aloud. Like listening to paint dry aloud...if that is possible. He literally ruined listening to this book. I just wanted to get through it. UGH! I hardly ever put in a review, but he sucked the life out of this story. Please do not have Paul Fanning ever narrate another story. PLEASE...

Although I loved the storu I wasn't overly impressed with the narrators. The voice-over for Joe Pike was particularly disturbing.
The story wad very good but had some holes in it, but it was good.

I didn't read the print version so I cannot say if it was better.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Maggie was my favorite, it was nice to hear how she saw and smelt life. It gave me a fresh perspective of life for my two dogs.
What does MacLeod Andrews bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Andrews narration helped visualize the events.
