No story line per se, just a wonderful set of power-related workplace issues we all (especially one's bosses...) should consider acting on. The interviewees (some of the most successful in their fields) are alone worth the listen, but it's even more worthwhile since top-scholar Grant expertly interweaves the latest research with his own well-crafted commentary. Am recommending it to many, including my MBA students.

Powerful true stories and much wisdom throughout from a credible author who's been in high level executive roles. Many valuable lessons for anyone aspiring to be a great leader. Narration was quite good too.

Well-crafted book with valuable messages and wisdom in every chapter, I'm already adopting a practicing mindset after just one month. While some will find Sterner's narration a bit wooden, I felt it almost meditative and certainly acceptable. Now on my third listening. Also helpful in this genre are McKeon's Essentialism and Duhigg's The Power of Habit.
