Historia
One sweltering summer night, a notorious, international big-game hunter and his beautiful wife are shot dead—at long range—while swimming naked at their seaside estate in Rancho Bonita, California. The police are convinced the perpetrator is an outspoken animal-rights activist—who happens to have both military experience and a criminal record. The evidence seems overwhelming, but soon rumors start to surface that indicate there may be more than one person with the means and motive for murder.

David must be my brother from another mother! I just identify with his style and wit. Starting to panic because I have no more Logan Adventures to dive into.

Historia
A notorious, international big-game hunter and his beautiful, former dental hygienist wife are gunned down at long range late one sweltering summer night, while swimming naked on their seaside estate in opulent Rancho Bonita, California. Police investigators are convinced that the killer is a strident, outspoken animal-rights activist, with both military experience and a criminal record. The evidence against him would appear overwhelming - until rumors begin to surface that others may have had their own reasons for committing murder.

Historia
When one retired CIA analyst plunges off a cliff in his vintage Porsche, it’s an unfortunate accident. When a second and then a third turn up dead under unusual circumstances, the CIA’s suspicions are confirmed: these men were murdered. All three analysts were once assigned to the same top-secret project: an internal review of the CIA’s own involvement in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Encourage David Freed to Write More Logan Novels
Revisado: 03-03-20
David is a very talented author and is a master of humor. Granted, I feel I have some interests in common with him. But, I would like to encourage you to write reviews and spur him on to follow up on his last book. If you have not read his works take a Happy Journey and I guarantee you will be glad you did. After you start his series, it won’t take long and you will be at the point I am - waiting impatiently for more.

Historia
When retired senior CIA analyst Rico Perris plunges off a cliff in his vintage Porsche while speeding through the mountains of Colorado late one snowy night, the local sheriff rules it an accident. CIA officials, however, suspect otherwise. Their suspicions are soon heightened after two other former intelligence analysts turn up dead under questionable circumstances. All three victims were once assigned to the same top-secret project: an internal review of the CIA's long-rumored involvement in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Historia
Narrated by Emmy Award–winning actor Martin Sheen, The Home Front: Life in America During World War II takes listeners into the lives of Americans at home—part of the Greatest Generation—who supported the war effort and sustained the country during wartime. The war brought immediate, life-changing shifts: the rationing of meat, dairy products, and sugar; an explosion of war-related jobs; and, despite mixed signals, a greater role for women working outside the home.

Very Disappointed
Revisado: 09-27-19
I was a bit hesitant to buy this audiobook because I had a feeling of the direction from which it would be presented. I am aware that there is injustice in our country but I felt the presentation was from the “I Hate America” elitists. I heard the emphasis on the negatives and not the positives of living in this country. Sorry, I heard enough and could not finish due to the underlying agenda!

Historia
In Legend, acclaimed best-selling author Eric Blehm takes as his canvas the Vietnam War as seen through a single mission that occurred on May 2, 1968. A 12-man Special Forces team had been covertly inserted into a small clearing in the jungles of neutral Cambodia - where US forces were forbidden to operate. Their objective, just miles over the Vietnam border, was to collect evidence that proved the North Vietnamese Army was using the Cambodian sanctuary as a major conduit for supplying troops and materiel to the south via the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

Historia
In 1912, at the height of World War I, brilliant Shakespeare expert Elizebeth Smith went to work for an eccentric tycoon on his estate outside Chicago. The tycoon had close ties to the US government, and he soon asked Elizebeth to apply her language skills to an exciting new venture: code breaking. There she met the man who would become her husband, groundbreaking cryptologist William Friedman. Though she and Friedman are in many ways the Adam and Eve of the NSA, Elizebeth's story, incredibly, has never been told.

I read or listen. Almost never write reviews. However, this book was so well written and narrated that I have to express my “wonder” at the marvel this author brought out. Thoroughly entertaining and very educational. A glorious experience.
