I loved it!
Revisado: 12-18-20
It is very slow at first with a lot of characters to keep up with. There is so much to juggle with this book but it really picks up half way through. The ending was great and I do not think it was bad police work at all like others are saying. It's a great mystery and you honestly think it could be like 6 different people. Loved it. I would listen again sometime.

Historia
For 12-year-old Cora Landry and her friends Violet and Jordyn, it was supposed to be an ordinary sleepover - movies and Ouija and talking about boys. But when they decide to sneak out to go to the abandoned rail yard on the outskirts of town, little do they know that their innocent games will have dangerous consequences. Later that night, Cora Landry is discovered on the tracks, bloody and clinging to life, her friends nowhere to be found. Soon, their small rural town is thrust into a maelstrom. Who would want to hurt a young girl like Cora - and why?

It had me hooked but the ending made my jaw drop..
Revisado: 11-11-20
I think good books make you feel certain ways for different characters. They pull you in make you angry, sad, frustrated, happy, annoyed. And this book did just that. I think that's why I was so disappointed with the ending. It was a cheap cop out. Impossible and ridiculous. I love how Britney reads though This is the third book I've read from her and she does make me enjoy books even when I hate the endings.

The Handmaid's Tale meets Wilder Girls in this genre-defying novel about a girl who escapes a terrifying cult only to discover that the world Outside has succumbed to a viral apocalypse. What she doesn't know is that Red Creek is a cult, controlled by a madman who calls himself a prophet.

Utterly Amazing
Revisado: 10-22-20
Agnes at the end of the world kept me on the end of my seat. I laughed and cried along with the characters. I thought I wouldn't like it at first, not being a religious person, but it was extremely well written. Very well done and Brittany Presley read it flawlessly.
