Historia
In the heart of the South Pacific lies Point Nemo, the most desolate and remote place on Earth. At its core is a dead zone, devoid of life, where government agencies crash their obsolete satellites and space stations, confident they won't harm a soul. When the International Space Station suffers a catastrophic failure and plummets through the atmosphere, it's here that Mission Specialist Julie Rohr, an astrobiologist studying living space dust called xylem, finds herself marooned. Julie's only hope for rescue lies in the hands of her estranged father, Dr. Finn Maddern, a renowned mycologist.

Fun classic sci-fi, it seams like fungus is a hot topic lately since the last of us! RC Bray is a great narrator.

Historia
The Aftermath of a stunning victory—especially an unexpected, complete, and final victory—should be high-fives all around, listening to politicians give boring congratulatory speeches, and a well-deserved rest for the Merry Band of Pirates. Yes, the galaxy is still a freakin' mess, but that is nothing new, and for a change, that can be someone else's problem. Until, you know, something really bad happens, and only the Pirates can deal with the problem... Or not.

What a comeback!!!
Revisado: 02-12-24
I was not read for the series to end on the last book and I honestly thought it had and I and so happy that came back with this book. The ending is the last book fell a little flat and didn’t feel like it did the series justice but that is not small feet with a series this long and epic! This was a great addition to the series and I’m looking forward to more adventures with the merry band of pirates!

Historia
“I have sensed a disturbance in the Force.” Ominous words under any circumstances, but all the more so when uttered by Emperor Palpatine. On Batuu, at the edges of the Unknown Regions, a threat to the Empire is taking root - its existence little more than a glimmer, its consequences as yet unknowable. But it is troubling enough to the Imperial leader to warrant investigation by his most powerful agents: ruthless enforcer Lord Darth Vader and brilliant strategist Grand Admiral Thrawn.

An Enjoyable Listen, More Please!
Revisado: 10-05-23
Both Vader and Anikin are portrayed poorly in these. Next to Thrawn both seem like they have never been in combat before and Anikin is portrayed as being super headstrong which he is but he’s usually been a good strategist. I wish this book was more like the previous Thrawn book.

The book and narrator were great. I just wish the book itself wasn’t abridged as the details that they remove are certainly felt.

Fun addition to the series, narration a bit slow
Revisado: 06-27-23
It to about an hour or so to adjust to the new narrator and right from the beginning it felt to slow but after bumping the playback speed to 1.25 that made the pace more enjoyable.
The story itself was good if not a bit repetitive throughout. They there were certainly a few times they gave the same information over and over but you have to wonder if it is just the main character saying these things to himself in his own mind to remind himself. All in all a good read and I found it enjoyable and worth the listen in the end.

Historia
There are plenty of mercenaries, spies, and guns for hire in the galaxy. But probably none as dangerous and determined as Bazine Netal. A master of disguise—and lethal with a blade, a blaster, or bare handed—she learned from the best. Now it’s her turn to be the teacher—even if schooling an eager but inexperienced recruit in the tricks of her trade is the last thing she wants to do. But it’s the only way to score the ship she needs to pull off her latest job.

The galaxy is doomed. Monkeys may be clever and too stubborn to give up, but Skippy The Idiot Who Got Played knows the harsh truth: this is a fight he can’t win. The odds are not only stacked against him, he was designed not to win this fight. Maybe he can salvage some faint memory of the civilizations that inhabit the galaxy, but those beings are doomed. Hero Story about Kirk By Kirk
Revisado: 12-12-22
This book was fun to read so long as you can separate it from true Trek. As a long time fan it reads as if Shaner has not invested the time in getting to know what motivates any other then character other than Kirk. Each character in the book is written as a subordinate of the legendary Shatter Kirk and behaves in a very unfamiliar gun ho way from what I’ve come to know and love about each of the characters. They are quick to act and don’t use their minds to win the situations they are in. I really hope this novel is not canon. It would be devastating for the Star Trek timeline if it were.
