Hysterical, witty and sarcastic! Plus a great read

This series is one of the most humorous ever written. You will smile throughout the story, even at the scary parts. Her writing is so well done, with so much sarcasm that you cant help but smirk from the beginning. Yes, this is a love story too, sort of! And has scary drama also, kind of! But seriously, this whole series is just one great, fun listen! The Narrator makes each character so real and alive that you feel like you know them, and she conveys all of the humor and sarcasm the author put in the book!!!
Dont miss this one.

I swear every series Ms. Wright writes is awesome. This one is only surpassed by her demon series! The world of the Phoenix and Mercury packs draw you in and make you really believe ...almost...that it is real! This series has romance, drama and fighting! All the good stuff. Plus, you can almost envision every character and fall in love with most.! I swear the author must get her personality profiles from people I know!
If you haven't read the rest of this series, I recommend starting from the beginning, but you don't have to.

Fun, exciting Vampire read!

Even though this is an older series, the story line is unique, interesting and exciting. the heroine is a kick-butt vampire that you can't help but admire. This series is a fast read because you get absorbed from the first page to the end of the series!

Laurenstons writing is entertaining. Her characters come to life and their personalities shine, even through a story.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the humor she interjected throughout the story, and the way she developed the characters aqnd made them so real.

Have you listened to any of Johanna Parker’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

great narrator. she assigns a voice to each character so you know exactly who is speaking, even before the words are read. Ms. parker reads a lot of Ms Laurenstons books, and she is amazing at creating a voice character for each person. Highly enjoyable to listen to.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

truthfully, I didnt want to listen to it at all! the plot just didnt sound exciting...stupid me! I should have known that everything she writes is off the charts great, and the narrator makes it even more entertaining.

even if this sounds like a deviation from the normal Laurenston books, it is worth the credit! Funny, exciting and a great narration!

If you're unfamiliar with the Phoenix or mercury packs, or this author, I highly recommend you start at the beginning. You won't be sorry. Another awesome paranormal love storythat fits perfectly with the rest of her books.
