Historia
In the Shadow World, he was the god of death, and he was called many names. The monsters he hunted called him Anubis. Those who saw his face died. To Guardian Security, he was a number - a surgical weapon they wielded against monstrous evil. One woman called him Kaeden Lang. Anubis never meant her to be anything except an interlude - a moment of light in the darkness of his life, a one-time escape from the ever-present haze of death.

And while that’s of no concern to anyone around him, there are others, non-humans, who have a vested interest in Xander’s family land. Xander knows something dark and dangerous is brewing. He’s just not quite sure what.

Trick of Light Book 7 Warders
Revisado: 04-21-23
I have loved this series and am a big fan of Mary Calmes and as a narrator Nick J. Russo, he has led me to other authors just following him - However, when you already have two different narrators in Paul Morey and Andrew Schwartz with this series you get accustomed to the character voices and their unique reactions to situations so i couldn't help when listening the first time making silly name corrections while listening. Once I got over myself and second go around i was able to pay better attention and really got into the amazing story line! The Angels were awesome!!!
I often listen to audio books while working and appreciate the hard work and dedication from both the author and narrator so thank you to both of you for another great read/listen. Much love

Brooks - I’ve been coming to this little café every weekday for the past month, and everyday the same guy, Noah, takes my order. He always flirts with me, talks to me, and makes me feel like a million bucks. The problem? He’s in his mid-twenties, which is a baby compared to my 45 years. The first time he winked at and flirted with me, I thought he was making fun of me. I may have cussed him out. Okay, I did. But just a little. But, to my surprise, he just laughed and told me I was cute when I was grumpy.

Daniel Mulligan is tough, snarky, and tattooed, hiding his self-consciousness behind sarcasm. Daniel has never fit in - not at home in Philadelphia with his auto mechanic father and brothers, and not at school where his Ivy League classmates looked down on him. Now, Daniel's relieved to have a job at a small college in Holiday, Northern Michigan, but he's a city boy through and through, and it's clear that this small town is one more place he won't fit in.

Amazing Middle of Somewhere
Revisado: 04-26-16
What did you love best about In the Middle of Somewhere?
I loved the entire story line of Middle of Somewhere. The family dynamics were written so well that you could feel the hurt and frustration, the wanting to belong to a family, just to be a part of one, just to feel loved.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I can't pick my favorite of the two main characters but also loved how Ginger and Will's love for their friends came through.
What does Robert Nieman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Normally I like each character to have different sounding voices, however Robert Nieman has such a smooth way of reading I could feel the emotions of each character, could hear their own "voice" and personalities clearly and will definitely look into more books he has done. Thank you Mr. Nieman
Who was the most memorable character of In the Middle of Somewhere and why?
Both Rex and Daniel, their emotions and how through trust they learned to love
Any additional comments?
I almost didn't give this audio a fair chance. Sometimes you buy a book and don't like the narration and never finish it. I listened to the first two chapters and had to give it a day, I did
not initially appreciate Mr. Nieman.
I went back to the beginning and really listened and could not take out the earphones, Mr. Nieman helped to weave the story by Roan Parrish, a beautiful and often heartbreaking and heartwarming story so compelling I was both crying with the characters and cheering by the end.
So again, thank you Mr. Nieman for your narration and to Roan Parrish who is now on my favorite authors list.
