Listened to the first two books a long time ago so got this to re-listen and to get the 3rd book, I deff enjoyed this the second time around just as much as the first. I enjoyed the first two books moe than the 3rd and it would have been nice if in the audio, there was some type of separator between the books, (now starting book 3, or something). I didnt think I was going to like this book, but when I listened to the sample on amazon, I was hooked. I then had to get every book in the series and listened non-stop the rest of the day.

Struggled with the performance

I really enjoyed books 1-3 and really looked forward to this one. I was however sadly disappointed. After some long hard thought as to why, I have attributed this to the way the book was performed. The mannerisms and the way the characters were represented made the book almost unable to be listening to and I would have turned it off if it had not been that I wanted to listen to the rest of the series.

The story was great though and I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series.

Great story about how a not-so-simple mmorpg glitches and evolves past its programming. It asks the questions, what is life like for an NPC?

Fist story of its type that I have read and was sucked in all the way thru. Narrator did a great job bringing the character and story to life.

Discovery of Self

Great continuation of the previous book that build upon the discovery of who Agent G really is. There is great self discovery and character growth as Agent G learns how to deal with his new identity and tries to figure out what he is going to do with the limited time he has left.

Another Winner

Great storyline and performance that kept me engaged and anxious to keep listening. Story had a good wrap up and closing with plenty of promise to draw you into the next books. If I had to make one complaint, I feel that some of the chase/fight seals that lead to the arbiter meeting did not have enough justification before the fighting broke out, but I am just being picky.

thoroughly hooked

A great story and continuation of the previous book. The main character is slowing learning how to live with part of his nature that has been locked up all his life, all while being used by the part of his family that he would like nothing to do with. He also learns that past trauma has cut him off from those he loves and realises what he has lost.

Great Story

The story was great, and I was sucked in all the way thru the book. There was a little bit of language at the beginning that I think detracted from the book, and that really didnt fit in the story.

The narrator takes a little bit of getting use to, I literally thought for the first 20 seconds that a computer was reading the book. But once I got used to the narrators way of speaking I really enjoyed listening to the entire book.
