Emmy Award-winning actress Tatiana Maslany narrates a brand-new special edition recording of the first audiobook in the worldwide best-selling trilogy from Suzanne Collins! In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

Fabulous story, so so narration
Revisado: 01-04-24
It goes without saying that this is a fantastic story. I really appreciate having it on audible so I can listen while doing other things. However, the narrator too often finished sentences with big sighs. A lot of the characters seemed to sigh a lot as they spoke. It’s a minor point, but I found it irritating.

Good substance, terrible narration
Revisado: 01-04-24
I couldn’t finish the book because the narration was so terrible. The person’s voice went up, inappropriately and down inappropriately, and sounded like it was an amalgamation of different words that were unrelated to each other in a sentence. It’s extremely difficult to listen to.
