Great premise with a typical koontz hero type. All his heroes second guess themselves but not agonizingly so. This story is a post apocalyptic story but thousands of years later with mankind paying for the sins of this long ago civilization. Beware of goblins.

King knows how to play on our most basic fears. Alone in the dark...

King uses the history of Derry to set up this masterpiece of horror.

The burning of the black spot and the ax murder in the bar.
If you could rename It, what would you call it?
It is the perfect title, you cannot express what it was.

I'm a king fan, and this is one of his best.
