Myron is Back and Good as Ever!!

I didn’t realize how much I had missed Myron Bolitar, Win, Esperanza and Big Cindy until I had them back. So very satisfying to be in their world again. Harlan Coben did an excellent job of aging them while leaving all the parts of the characters we loved intact. I hope there will be more Myron. This was just enough to get me hooked all over again.

I really recommend doing this as an audiobook of possible!

I usually read books on audio mainly for convenience, but there are some books that are just better to hear. This is one of them. it’s like a long, one woman show, done by Whoopie, just for you. I might buy the actual book if there are pictures just so I can see them, but this is an audio book I will listen to over and over. Thank you so much, Ms Goldberg for the laughs and tears.

I Couldn’t put it down!

I ordered this book to read for my BookClub. I am not sure if I would have picked it up otherwise, but I am so glad I did. The story was so well told with twists and turns to keep you listening. I kept reading past my bedtime because I just needed “one more chapter” (over and over) I’ll be falling asleep tomorrow but it was worth it to get to the satisfying ending.

An amazing story

Where to even begin?
I am not usually a historical fiction fan but Bruce Borgos made this story so intriguing that once I started, it was impossible to put down. A dual time line story done well with a rich tapestry of characters and some of the best dialogue I have ever read. Sheriff Porter Beck has a new fan. I can’t wait to see where he goes next.

An Auntie Mame for a new generation !!!

Loved, loved loved this book! It wasn’t the light heart romp and beach read I was expecting, but a soulful, deep, coming of age, no matter how old you are, story. As with the very best books, I started recommending it before I was finished and loved it so much I am going to purchase a hard back copy for my library. It’s that good.

Connelly At his Best

I love a story with an engaging storyline. I have enjoyed Harry Busch’s story from the very beginning and love that I hear the same voice when I view the stories on video. I look forward to reading/hearing or viewing the next chapter of Harry’s life.
