Historia
No one expects the police to knock on the door of the million-dollar two-story home of the perfect cul-de-sac housewife. But soccer mom Lara Love Hardin has been hiding a shady secret: she is funding her heroin addiction by stealing her neighbors’ credit cards. Lara is convicted of thirty-two felonies and becomes inmate S32179. She finds that jail is a class system with a power structure that is somewhere between an adolescent sleepover party and Lord of the Flies. But Lara quickly learns the rules and brings love and healing to her fellow inmates.

This is a well written, authentic, beautiful, messy life story and finding identity free from shame. Anytime the author narrates it’s always better. I will be buying hard copy and sending to several friends.

All My Knotted-Up Life is a beautifully crafted portrait of resilience and survival, a poignant reminder of God’s enduring faithfulness, and proof positive that if we ever truly took the time to hear people’s full stories . . . we’d all walk around slack-jawed.

Tears of tenderness
Revisado: 03-08-23
With tenderness, hot tears and gratitude. It’s been along time since I found a book so encouraging. Having started my faith journey with believe in God, Beth Moore’s Bible study, so many years later, I still find myself to be blessed and inspired and encouraged by this incredible woman of God. thank you for bearing your heart your soul and your life for Jesus.

Historia
Based on a groundbreaking in-depth survey of 22,000 Christian women, The Great Sex Rescue unlocks the secrets to what makes some marriages red hot while others fizzle out. Generations of women have grown up with messages about sex that make them feel dirty, used, or invisible, while men have been sold such a cheapened version of sex, they don't know what they're missing. The Great Sex Rescue hopes to turn all of that around, developing a truly biblical view of sex where mutuality, intimacy, and passion reign.

Transformative.
Revisado: 09-01-22
I was not raised in church. Until I came to Christ, we were all over the map in many ways including sexually. As I listened to these stories, statistics, and wise words, I realized I am still very much buried by the shame of our past. But I could not be more grateful for this work and the freedom that is coming.
I’m sad and not surprised by some response to this. The modern evangelical church seems to struggle with separating itself from legalistic nonsense vs. the truth that God loves us ALL and created us to love each other.
Thank you for the time, sacrifice, and willingness to get the facts through documented and repeatable scientific methods that so many “Christian” resources are missing.

Historia
Nearly all of us experience the suffering of overwork, over-stimulation, overachievement and hyper-expectation. We are asked to do more with less, but where is the energy and capacity going to come from? Rather than doing more, we need to learn to do differently in order to achieve. We need to slow down to go fast, step back to energize, take a breath to connect with presence, and look at the same situations with fresh, innovative thinking. Otherwise we will continue to crash economically, personally, and collectively. In today's dynamic world, Pause will become the new transformative principle, the catalyst for purpose-filled innovation and renewal.

Historia
How do we find contentment in God when we feel so hidden? Sara Hagerty unfolds the truths found in the biblical story of Mary of Bethany to discover the scandalous love of God and explore the spiritual richness of being hidden in him. Every heart longs to be seen and understood. Yet most of our lives is unwitnessed. We spend our days working, driving, parenting. We sometimes spend whole seasons feeling unnoticed and unappreciated. In Unseen, Sara Hagerty suggests that this is exactly what God intended. He is the only one who truly knows us.

Depth and vulnerability that captures the very heart of God
Revisado: 09-13-17
This work is so rich after listening to it I purchased a hard copy for myself and will be purchasing many more for others. The depth of God's love amidst the hardest thing... being alone and unseen by our selfie culture. Being seen in the worst of ourselves and the best of ourselves by a God who's love demonstrated here as truly. Sound measure compels me to go well beyond any simple single verse devotional. Deep calls to deep in the deepest places of my heart. Thank you Ms. Hagerty.
