Great story, great pacing

I feel this is edited very well and the story is fast, fun and definitely worth a listen.

Story starts off good. Laggs very hard, gets sappy and finally picks back up at the end. Probably won't continue the series, there is too many better stories out there. Too much wallowing in sorrow for me in the middle of this otherwise good story.

Snooze Fest

Holy cow, I've never skipped that many chapters in my life and it ends on a cliffhanger. Wait for the next book and just get the book, not audio.. that way you can just skip chapters and get to the parts that actually progress the story. This thing hums, haws, tisks and barely moves anywhere. It is ablong beat around the bush for sure. Slow, full of fluff and a regrettable.

Strong start, weak finish

The pacing fell apart once the MC enters school. It's still worth a listen, but be ready for the last half to be slow. Not even a slow burn, just drawn out and slow.

Not very satisfying

It has goods, bads, ups and downs. My overall impression was lacking. Progression is unsatisfying and the MC is not very fun or exciting to follow. I would prefer something half as long with better entertainment. It drags mostly with some high points.

Soooooo much Filler and Fluff

Almost nothing happens at all. Banter, filler and fluff. Very disappointed. If your looking for some real story progression, it is not here. Hopefully next time. I will read rather than listen as the story is not worth the cost to listen to. Everything could have been condensed into a fraction of the chapters with the same result.

Great but.... 1-2 hours of stat reading

Great book and I do recommend. Only 2 downsides for me.

1. The stats stack up hardcore. I swear at one point they read off stats for about 5 minutes once you get deep into the book. It happens every few chapters.

2. Side characters get a little too much time in my opinion. They are all good, but it took me out of the MC's progress and I have to wonder how many times we will get this moving forward. Backstory on too many people at times for me. I prefer to focus mainly on the MC. I was sad at the end thinking of how much more progress we could have had if the story stuck to the basics on the support cast or at least only focused on just a few.

Month later still can't finish

I wanted and tried very hard to make it through this over the course of months. I could not finish it. made it about half way through. The narration is pretty bad and the story felt dull and lifeless.
