Historia
Widely respected as a civil libertarian, legal educator, and defense attorney extraordinaire, Alan M. Dershowitz has also been a passionate though not uncritical supporter of Israel. In this audiobook, he presents an ardent defense of Israel's rights, supported by indisputable evidence. Dershowitz takes a close look at what Israel's accusers and detractors are saying about this war-torn country. He accuses those who attack Israel of international bigotry and backs up his argument with hard facts.

Factual and very objective

Besides being very well written and always kept me engaged, it is wonderful overview and history of the essential Israel Arab/Muslim dilemma. It's still relevant in 2024.

Historia
Every church is driven by some controlling force: tradition, finances, programs, events, personalities, or even the building itself. But author and pastor Dr. Rick Warren, the founder of Saddleback Valley Community Church in California, believes that a church can only be truly healthy if it becomes "purpose-driven," built around the 5 goals Jesus stated in the New Testament.

Every church can use this

The book and narration are excellent. After reading and enjoying The Purpose Driven Life, I was saddened that Rick Warren didn’t narrate the book however this man did a great job. I totally forgot it wasn’t Rick after two chapters.

Historia
Canonized on June 16, 2002, Padre Pio of Pietrelcina (1887-1968) was a Capuchin monk and mystic whose life was marked with miracles and wonders, but who said that his only desire was “to be a poor friar who prays.” In this intimate biography, you will see the results of this humble Capuchin's prayers and discover for yourself the source of his great hope. This updated edition contains five new chapters covering the years between beatification and canonization, St. Pio’s continued work in people’s lives, and the devotion of St. John Paul II to this extraordinary saint.

My favorite Saint
Revisado: 10-14-22
This book is all encompassing and upon completion you will feel like you watched Saint Pio live in the flesh for most of his life. He seemingly mimicked the life of Jesus in many ways and his suffering was palpable and will make you weep. The next minute you’ll be crying with laughter because she was quietly hilarious with great wit. The horrible treatment he received from the leaders in the Catholic Church was truly horrific but always the faithful servant he was Obie to until the end. You must listen to this book. We’ll done!

Historia
Over the past 20 years, Matthew Kelly has seen more of the world than most presidents and more of the Church than most bishops. Now, in this unique and timely book, he proposes that Catholicism is not a lifeless set of rules and regulations, but a way of life designed by God to help each person reach his or her full potential. With remarkable insight, Kelly dispels dozens of myths that surround the rejection of Catholicism today and provides a profound and practical vision of what will lead the Catholic Church to thrive again in the future.
