When asked the question is it worth it?

For doing the right thing…. The response “it doesn’t have to be.” Is very true, but tough to accept.

Being unconditional is tough.

Wanting to say something to relate, when we should remain silent, be patient is actually how we listen.

Trusting God’s will instead of trying to bend his to our own.

These are greatest lessons I learned here.

Black Hawk Down - A Must Read

I heard Durant on the Jocko Podcast and immediately got the book afterwards. Black Hawk down has much more to the story, this is a crucial part that was not covered well in that movie. 2 Medal of Honor recipients gave their lives, that day, in attempt of preserving the life of Durant and his crew. Those men had Wives and Children back home, regardless they went anyways against insurmountable odds. We owe it to all the men, and their families, who gave their lives that day in 1993. Please read

Powerful and Disturbing

After listening to Jocko Podcast 280 I had to know more. The book in that podcast was/is not on Audio so I chose this one. glad I did. The comparison to the Jewish Holocaust gives a perspective of these events as well. Lots and lots of detail, well written great narrator especially for something as heavy as this. This should be required reading for every Christian. Period.
